I purchased this CURT 45949 Rebellion XD Receiver Adjustable Suspension Hitch 2" Ball Mount to replace my fixed hitch. This hitch gives me the ability to customize the hitch ball for different trailers. My biggest issue is that the hitch ball mount that came with it had holes drilled at an angle. This problem causes the pin to be inserted at an angle, making it difficult to install or remove the hitch ball mount and makes adjustment difficult. I purchased a replacement CURT 45952 Rebellion XD dual ball for use with this hitch receiver, which I use in place of the included hitch ball mount. The shock absorber works well and eliminates trailer vibrations being transmitted to the tractor. I like the cushion hitch receiver but I'm disappointed with the CURT MFG quality check. CO High quality CURT MFG. CO has declined sharply over the years. I recommend that you carefully examine the product before purchasing it.
