Review on ๐Ÿงถ Susan Bates Silvalume Soft Handle Aluminum Crochet Hook 5.5"- I9/5.5mm - Enhanced SEO by Wendy Rodriguez

Good comfy hook

I'm addicted to these hooks (no pun intended)! I think I should have all the sizes offered in this Susan Bates hook style. The first one I bought was a bit sharp on the open end of the hook part itself, but they sent me a replacement. My only criticism of these hooks is probably a personal one. I like to choke closer to the tip of the hook when I'm working, so I have to learn to move my hand farther away from the tip of the hook to use a big, soft grip on the hook. these hooks. I bought the first one because I was working on a project and it felt like the yarn had "split". Around the same time, I was watching an It's Crochet O'Clock YouTube video and the host (sorry I can't remember her name) was talking about "split" yarn. She said that doesn't happen and I thought she was wrong. She went on to say that if you're having trouble with a particular yarn, you should change your tool. Well, when it comes to crocheting, our tool is a hook. I knew there were different types of hooks, offset and inline. I looked closely at the hook I was using and it was an offset hook. But I didn't have the right hook size, so I bought my first Silvalume soft grip hook. And guess what, the owner of It's Crochet O'Clock is right. As soon as I switched tools, my yarn stopped breaking! Now when I start a project, the first thing I pick up is Silvalume's built-in hooks because I really like them. But if my yarn starts to have problems I'll try another tool.
