Almost Perfect for Knitting and Crocheting

For those who use a knife hood when crocheting, this is great. I crochet a pencil so the pillow really wasn't a bonus for me. I did my best. Of course, others may feel differently. Overall this is a great hook and I expect Susan Bates hooks to be made. The only hooks I'll ever use

Day and night from a conical hook

ordered on recommendation. I used a cheap tapered hook. It splits the yarn, catches a lot and slips all the time. The Susan Bates hook was recommended to me for the built in hook. Since using it, I've only slipped once and never snapped the yarn. It has a sharper point to make it easier to pierce the stitch. And the hook is more defined, which makes grabbing the yarn much easier. I definitely recommend this hook if you have the same problems as me. Definitely worth it.

The longer handle allowed me to loosen my grip and easily switch between knife and pen grips, allowing me to knit longer, which was my desire. a hook is still more painful than a hook with a thicker handle. Also, after using Boye and such, it took me a minute to get used to the difference in the throat of the hook and how to change the grip of the yarn a bit…

Good comfy hook

I'm addicted to these hooks (no pun intended)! I think I should have all the sizes offered in this Susan Bates hook style. The first one I bought was a bit sharp on the open end of the hook part itself, but they sent me a replacement. My only criticism of these hooks is probably a personal one. I like to choke closer to the tip of the hook when I'm working, so I have to learn to move my hand farther away from the tip of the hook to use a big, soft grip on the hook. these hooks. I bought the…
