First of all this tape did exactly what I needed and closed the tear on the pop up window. However, there are a few steps you need to take to ensure the installation doesn't turn into a mess. As others have said, put the tape in the fridge for as long as possible. The colder it is (not frozen) the easier it is to work with - pre-cut tape to length without covering backing and put back in fridge (cold tape is key!) - DO NOT APPLY IN THE SUN! - Use a needle. Needle-nosed pliers to begin stripping backing and working quickly with lengths about 18 inches long – smooth out any trapped bubbles. It's not the easiest product to get the job done, but it gets the job done and with a little patience, it's not too difficult to install.
