The Delta cartridge is a known point of failure. When we bought a Delta faucet a few years ago, the original part started dripping when shut off after only 6 weeks. Delta replaced it under warranty, but reviews of the replacement cartridge complained that users failed within a year or two. This also happened with our replacement. I figured that a third party cartridge couldn't be any worse and maybe better - for a lot less money. This part installs the same as the Delta but looks better. Water flow stops approximately 10 degrees before the handle reaches the physical stop point. The Delta cartridge is more like 1-2 degrees. Hope this one lasts longer too.
