These screws also hold the planks together in the gap! You don't have to screw in the screws and then unscrew and screw them back in to close the gap. Enormous time savings. Best I've ever used and I've been in this game for 20 years. The length is great for joining (2) 2x4s together without sticking out the back. Good product!
