Maybe I'm despotic.

I somehow managed to break the first two pen clips I used. If you put too many hairs in and try to close them, there isn't much resistance before they break. I found a small piece of hair using the remaining clips, wrap it with a clear elastic, and then secure it. My hair was too thin and without extra hair or elastic it fell out. The clips are cute but I haven't tried them. All in all a great price if you are very careful with it.
