At home I have a three liter plastic container in which I put hair ties, hair clips, headbands and so on. It's pretty full. I've learned over the years that you can never really tell how well this hairpiece works until you bring it home and try it out. My hair is thick and frizzy which makes it difficult to find hair clips that are strong and short enough to hold my hair in place without slowly (or quickly) falling out of its original place. I wasn't sure what to expect from the size of these clips because I have thick hair but let me tell you that they have a have good big size that holds a lot of hair! I love that they come in different colors so I can combine them with any outfit I want! Long enough for thick hair so this is my main treat!

I somehow managed to break the first two pen clips I used. If you put too many hairs in and try to close them, there isn't much resistance before they break. I found a small piece of hair using the remaining clips, wrap it with a clear elastic, and then secure it. My hair was too thin and without extra hair or elastic it fell out. The clips are cute but I haven't tried them. All in all a great price if you are very careful with it.

Very quirky. I love polished gold sprigs in my short hair. All branches are hairpins and feathers are hairpins. I thought the feather in my daughter's hair was cute. They come in individual packaging.

I wanted something pretty to keep my not so long hair out of my face. I was worried they would be too big but the branches are the perfect size. Feathered ones are bigger, but they aren't HUGE like I feared. They do their job well. I haven't had them that long but they seem to be durable. I have fine hair although there is quite a bit of it that has been treated many, many times and is holding up without falling out or breaking my brittle hair. I couldn't be happier!

The clips are very nice, they are metal so they have some weight which I like. Having long and thick hair, I had trouble getting the hair clips in place. Spring clips will one day get loose in my hair, and branch clips won't be able to hold any part of my hair. I went ahead and gave it to my niece who has long but thin hair. The branches were perfect for her hair. They were tight, not tight, and looked very pretty on her. Spring clips are hit or miss, but overall they work a lot better for her.

Colors are brighter and cheaper than the pictures. Golds are all yellow, no real change in tones. The same goes for bright silver, which is more like an aluminum sheen. The bobby pins are difficult to untie and you have to hold them open to lift the hair, but they are not soft and don't pull on them like you would a bobby pin. I did it and it's tearing your hair out. One of the branches was not quite fixed, so it was about to break. Decided to return them.

I never rate products. The seller (from Shenzhen, China) emailed me to thank me for my purchase and was forced to leave feedback. The product is very cute and very well made. They offer a wide variety of "metals" so you can mix and match all your outfits. I put a lot of emphasis on matching certain metal colors with certain pieces of clothing.
