This is a great product for its price - easy to use, easy to set up (read the instructions first) and relatively quick . The slow part is finding your negatives, which can be tricky, and putting them in the holder, which is easy. It is designed for 35mm negatives or standard slides. It does the job I wanted, which is inventory of my thousands of negatives. I have just started this task and I am very thankful for a device that I can use without any problems. Once I set it up for negatives, all I have to do is pop the lid and it's ready to do the same. I can add pictures from the SD card to my computer and print from there. More importantly, I can search and find the negatives of important photos that I want to keep. I want to find a place where I can print just the 3 or 4 photos that I particularly need, in enlarged quality, from the original negatives.
