It may be more expensive but you get what you pay for!

I'm not the best communicator and this is my first thank you so I hope everything works out and you can understand what I'm trying to say. I received my Johnny Apple Peeler today and I'm so excited. I did my homework on Revain, looked at the comments, there were a lot and varied. One person said he tried to return his car to a manufacturer who told him it was an imitation made in China and not Taiwan (that was my first checkpoint). I also saw a post where they said they used magnets to find out if their cast iron peeler wasn't cast iron, that it was light and flimsy. Mine attracts magnets, it's not light or flimsy and if it falls apart I'll let you know in the future but I don't think it will. I've heard complaints that their machines peel the apple too deeply, don't stick to the counter, and don't have instructions. After reading the instructions in JAP, I found that my very, very sharp blade can be adjusted for deep cuts or thin cuts. I also noticed that several people asked if they knew how to peel potatoes and the answer was either no or I don't know. Well, not only can you peel potatoes, but you can also make potato sticks. That's great! I think the main reason I bought this VICTORIO is that after all these complaints I saw that even though it was about 25% more expensive than most other cleaners it had a five year warranty and it helped me ! I just peeled six apples to make applesauce in my instant pot and it was slippery than grease on a doorknob! I hope this comment helps. Good luck with your purchase!
