Perfect for knitting with small needles on two circular needles. They're surprisingly light, so they don't tighten the waiting stitches. I found it easier to purl (to get the right angle with those shorter 16 inch needles), but I still like them because I don't like having a lot of extra cord hanging around. I could see how even with extra rope some would prefer the next size up. It would be great if they came out in US sizes 1.5 and 2.5. I love bamboo and I really think Klee does it best because they don't ruin it with a bunch of cover. I love the light polish they use because it doesn't get in the way of the velvety smooth texture I love so much. Somehow it has something that keeps me coming loose (here transformed single crochets!) Just right and the stitches just slip.
