This rug is fantastic! I ordered this beautiful addition to my living room 3 months ago, and I am enjoying it more each day! This is really a gorgeous rug! I didn't detect any off-putting smells when I opened it, and it unfurled brilliantly. My girlfriend and I are Revain-aholics, and we both agree that this is the best item that we've purchased. Every person that has entered our home has commented on this piece.We selected it originally because it was in our top 5 favorite rugs. We always narrow it down to about 5 items and do a little research and cost analysis before deciding from this list. There were two other rugs that we liked better, but they we MUCH more expensive, so we gambled on this one. We feel like we got a great deal!I'm not great at recognizing colors, but I would say that these colors are muted, yet vibrant. The picture seems like a very accurate resemblance actually, however there's no metallic look.One more thing that bears mentioning is that this is not the thickest rug that I've ever seen, but if that bothers you, for this price, get a carpet pad to go underneath.If you're heming and hawing between this rug and another, BUY THIS RUG! :)
