Review on 🔌 D-Link USB Ethernet Adapter, Fast High Speed Network Connection for Desktop PC - USB 2.0 (DUB-E100) by Ken Pinell

I decided to turn an old laptop into a router with pfSense as I needed IPSec VPN capabilities to work and didn't want to spend a lot of money on a new router with it Capability. Like most laptops it only has one ethernet port so I decided to buy an adapter to add another port. After I connected the adapter and installed pfSense 1.2.3, for some reason I was only able to get 50Mbps, even though I was able to get 100Mbps. I updated to pfSense version 2-RC3 and it seemed to be using the new driver for the adapter and now I can get all 100 up and down. So overall I'm very happy that it worked the way I wanted and I'm glad that the latest version of pfSense had a good driver for the adapter that allows me to use it at full speed.
