Very useful for my needs

For a while, this method was on my list as a way to store and protect information. It's not the cheapest, but worth the cost. I like that it can be easily encrypted and secured with a simple set of PW numbers. It's lightweight and comes in a package that makes it easy to travel from home to the office and even on vacation. If lost, everything will be erased when you try to hack the SSD. Using this drive is to help me transition from an old laptop to a new one and from local storage to using this drive as well as a secure online storage system. There are so many cloud storage options out there right now that I want to take the time to research the best options before making a decision. Also, I don't need to be "online" to access my files, folders, music, etc. More and more is stored and protected in OneNote. Yes I would buy it again. But with a smaller amount of storage - 256 GB will do.

Pros
  • External SSDs
Cons
  • Hard to say
