I hesitated for a long time before ordering this grater to replace my VERY OLD Zyliss metal grater which I thought might have to be retired. Well I was thrilled when I unboxed it. It looked nice and I liked the little "collectible bottles". However, once I started using it (using a drum with big holes to grate a bunch of cheddar cheese (which I put in the freezer for 20 minutes per the instructions), I was very disappointed with the feel of the plastic grater - it felt like it was about to go - it breaks and it was very inconvenient to use. I'm glad I didn't throw away my old metal grater. When I replace it it's with another metal tool. Sorry but it needs to be returned will !
