Installed on a 2014 Hyundai Santa fe GLS Their main drawback is that they don't pivot to the contour of the kayak side when you lay the kayak on its side. This creates an additional pressure point on the kayaks. It would be nice to have this feature where the part that the kayak sits on can rotate freely or be adjustable. The other issue I have is that the rising stem doesn't have spacers where my kayaks sit. Pelican Kayaks m100 by Costco. I'll prepare something to provide stuffing there. The cost of these straps is a decent price, but perhaps the higher part of them will contour better.
