Photos do not do the aerator justice, such a beautiful piece next to each wine bottle I sat so close. It comes with a short black stand for correct vertical viewing. The top of the device rotates to adjust the speed at which you decant the wine. I practiced with water first and noticed a noticeable difference in speed. Not too dramatic, but enough to differentiate and apply needs. Cleaning is child's play, a quick rinse is all it takes. Kept in plain view or in its own felt pouch in the box it came in, I decided to keep it away so it would be easy to find. I fell in love with this device after first use and I think it will be part of my wine serving routine from now on. It's so easy to use that you won't get confused on how to use the device as the instructions are pretty much preset. Wine in, wine out.
