I almost gave them up based on some reviews but after reading some of them I realized I was more frustrated with the difficulty of installation and didn't make any real sense in the actual product . I will say that the installation is really more difficult than installing a standard tube/tire. In fact, the tire seemed too small for the rim. They sit very tight. The first tire took a while, but I've found that using zip ties to hold the tire on the rim while you work it on the rim makes it a lot easier. The tire did not seat properly in the rim, but after installation I used pliers to rock the tire back and forth to get it in place. Journey. These tires are NOT as soft as traditional inflatable tires, they are a bit stiff, in fact after some time on the road they have softened a bit and I suspect they will continue to improve.
