I've been using tire repair threads for years to fix punctures on my car tires with no reliability issues. Repairs require a good quality fresh plug, proper installation tools and following the correct instructions. These CK AUTO forks are fresh and sticky, extremely flexible and well packaged. Groups of 5 forks are individually separated on the cards to keep them from drying out or getting dirty. I like to coat the strings with lots of rubber cement before inserting them into the hole in the hoop. The cement provides lubrication to ease installation and also increases traction as the cement cures inside the tire. CK Auto provides clear instructions for a successful repair. Before starting work, prepare the appropriate tools and fresh rubber glue. If you make a mistake the first time, you can always try a new plug.
