This external SSD works exactly as advertised. Quickly. Very easy to use. All cables included (thanks!) and no problem. A little more than some, but that's not a problem for my purposes. I was careless and got the Mac version when I really want to use it on Windows. So I had to mount it (no problem) and then delete the Mac partition and create a Windows NTFS partition instead. After figuring out my mistake it was very easy to do and when it was done it worked great. It can be assembled immediately and translates very quickly. I didn't notice any heat or heat during the transfer, which is great. The quality seems good and it worked with both USB 3.0 and USB C on both Windows 7 (3.0) and Windows 10 (C). Very happy with this good fast little SSD.
