Review on ☕ Ilsa Stainless Steel 6 Cup Stovetop Espresso Maker: Experience Rich and Authentic Espresso at Home! by Kendro Givens

I will be reviewing this item 18 months after purchase because I wanted to reassure anyone who doubts that it will get better with time becomes. At first I saw some imperfections on Ilsa and thought about returning it but decided to keep it for myself because it has many things I like (mostly made in Italy and all stainless steel). The biggest issue (that others have mentioned in reviews) was how difficult it was to tighten and as a result it sometimes leaked when heated. Over time this became less and less of a problem and now it is not a problem at all. Metal will likely take some time to adjust. After some use it is perfectly sealed and does not leak at all. The second problem I had was that the handle got hot, of course because it's metal. I've found that by placing it in the right spot on the gas stove, it doesn't get too hot, although I still have to use an oven mitt occasionally. Not much of an inconvenience, really. Over the years I've had espresso machines with plastic handles that fall off after a while and with this one I'm sure that won't happen. So it's worth it. Perhaps the only thing that definitely improves over time is the quality of the coffee. I love, love, love the dark coffee I make with Ilsa every morning. I strongly recommend giving this lady some time to make you happy. For me it was the best decision. Hope that helps!
