Good frame with some flaws

The frame itself is well made for the price. I ran into a few small issues that I was able to resolve and thought it would be useful to share. First, make sure you remove the plastic from both sides. I've bought many frames in the past and all (most?) have protective plastic on both sides, but the plastic is very difficult to see on this frame. I couldn't see it, and on first use I didn't realize there was a protective film on the inward-facing plastic. This led to the assumption that the plastic itself was defective and contacted the manufacturer who was quick to reiterate that there must be a plastic film inside. Of course, after browsing through it, I found it and deleted it. Voila, the frame is crystal clear. Second, the installation guide is somewhat lacking. They suggest you drill four anchor holes in the wall to install the frame. no way. And in fact. With a frame this light, there's no reason you need four mounting holes. Instead, I was able to find a couple of short mounting screws that fit in two holes, thread them through, close with a nut, and thread a wire in between. The end result: one hole (with a regular hanger no less!) is more than enough to hang a frame of this weight. Instead of the manufacturer I would do the following: a marker or a sticker or SOME SOMETHING to let us know there is a coating. This eliminates consumer confusion and reduces email hits. 2) Remove THREE of the provided anchors and bolts and instead provide TWO short bolts and nuts that attach to the frame through the mounting holes. It will also reduce confusion and probably be a bit cheaper to manufacture.
