Many people mentioned there is a small hole for the electric ark so I expected the worst but when it arrived I was pleasantly surprised at how wide it is is, you can easily attach candle wicks or anything thinner than about 1cm. The on/off safety switch is a nice feature and the button is a lot easier to press than a standard lighter. One minor annoyance I found with this is a high-pitched squeak when you activate the lighter. At first I thought it was just a by-product of power generation, but I'm beginning to wonder if this is just another safety feature. It's high enough that only young people can hear it. So could this be another safety feature to keep kids from squeezing it while most adults can't even hear it? Either way, it's still worth the money.
