The radio itself has a lot of value and it's pretty clear when you have it. The sensitivity is high. It picks up stations very well thanks to the DSP chip that fixes them. You can see it on AM, FM and even the weather band. The weather range is really impressive on this device. It works very well and can tell you everything you need to know about the weather. It is rechargeable with battery power. Great feature. The light is really good and I took it with me for simple lighting projects around the house as it stays flat on a table or counter so you can place it where needed. The flashlight has a ton of throw and the flashlight has a lot of tide. The A+ headphone jack is kind of crappy, I don't recommend it. Charging your devices may be random or fail. I do not recommend using it as a power bank but as an emergency device. Do you think it's worth it? Yes. When living in Florida you can never be too careful, so that's a good thing. Will he replace weather radio with SAME technology? no should you get one I think so. Consider your options, if you don't need it don't get it, but it has many benefits and for the price you really can't beat it. Thumbs up for my book.
