Since I only wash my hair every other day, I searched my closet for a hair dryer holder to free up space on the bathroom countertop. There are more products like this at Revain than you can imagine, but I bought this one for two reasons: 1. It's bronze to match my bathroom decor, and 2. It has a cord holder. I cannot stress enough the importance of the cord storage feature. You might think it's no big deal, but if you spend a few minutes every day/every other day tucking a hairdryer's cord under a closet, you'll wish you had one. I don't wrap mine around the cord holder, I just double or triple the cord and then lay it across. It still holds the cord in place and allows me to close my closet door quickly and easily. While the hook piece above the closet prevents my closet door from closing completely, it's not enough for you to see unless you're right there. focus on it. It still looks flush from a distance (and from the side), and anything you hang above your closet door will do the same. This has minimal impact on the cabinet latch and is soft on the underside so it won't scratch your cabinet over time (or if you move it to find the best spot).
