Review on 16-Core, 32-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor - AMD Ryzen 9 5950X by Wiktor Krel ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Wonderful quality, one hundred percent satisfied!

After upgrading from a processor that was already ludicrous, the i7 4790, the performance improvement is, of course, inconceivable. I have been making use of it for a number of months now, and despite the fact that I have never been able to load it at its maximum capacity, I have used it both for my work and in games that require a significant amount of calculating. The maximum number of cores and threads that could be loaded to 100% was 8. That is to say, half of the whole load is carried. Purchased for close to 78 thousand dollars.

Pros
  • Count of cores and threads in use. Performance.
Cons
  • It's a shame, but there is no support for DDR5 or PCI Express 5. (Considering that this CPU was released in a different year than DDR5 and PCI Express 5, it's unreasonable to expect support for these technologies.) It is not easy to locate a typical mother board that is compatible with this CPU socket. On the other hand, this is primarily AMD's issue.
