Review on Fox Run Metallic Fat/Candy Thermometer, 2.75 x 2.75 x 5.75 inches by Shakira Loper

I have mixed feelings about this lollipop thermometer. YES, it delivers as described. However, I would have liked the clamp to be thinner. I'm having enough trouble seeing numbers on the page to see my temperature! Looks like they have room to increase the number because it's a nice big thermometer. The clip is AWESOME - that means someone thought of putting a clip on a thermometer! However, this is also problematic as the position makes it impossible for me to read the numbers, which are tiny anyway! If I had had the opportunity to see how to use it I would not have received it. HOWEVER - it can be PERFECT for a simple candy making pot. I use it for liquids in small batches in a 1.5 cup pot. I believe it was intended for a broader, more traditional use. Still, I'm having a hard time seeing the numbers! Please improve your interesting design!
