It's easy to have a K&N CAI before my engine fails AND after I get a new engine. My K&N system was stolen in the process. I need an air system now as I no longer had the OEM hardware or the K&N system so I bought this Specter CAI as a quick cheap fix for the situation I was in at the time and to my surprise I wasn't expecting anything from it the Specter CAI was just as good or made no difference, it's a '98 Chevy Tahoe with a 5.7 Vortech. (New motor). Therefore, for the price and quality, I recommend it to anyone looking for a high-performance and affordable solution for this type of application.
