Good cheap digital converter

to install a long digital signal chain from my TV's optical output to a headphone amplifier. The distance was too long to be managed entirely with fiber optic cable. This device allowed me to use a short optical cable and then mostly convert it to coax. That works great. It's also designed to work in reverse, ie converting from coax to optical, but I haven't tried it that way.
