I originally bought these shoes to help with my plantar fasciitis issues. Plus #1: These shoes, along with the insoles recommended by my doctor, have been heaven for plantar fasciitis as my associated foot pain can get so bad I can't even stand for 2 minutes if I don't use insoles. Even the most comfortable sneakers brought only minimal benefit. Now that I think about it, I can't really say if it's a shoe or a combination of shoes and insoles. Cons of these shoes: I work in a metal detector before starting any construction work. Wednesday. And I have to take these shoes off every day - at the start of the shift, when I go out for lunch - when I leave and of course when I come back from lunch. To clean the metal detector I have to take off my shoes and scan them with an extra scanner! Right now I don't have the SAT words to describe the anxiety and frustration these shoes give me 5 times a week, 3 times a day. But being blessed with plantar fasciitis, I don't know what 'trendy' business shoes I could get to replace those timid pups. Cons #2: Ankle support raises a lot of questions. be desired. I need to wear something that will further stabilize my ankle to get through the day. Hooray!
