Installs in 5 minutes. Cleared my codes, started the car to complete the I/M readiness test. Multiple trips with no current or pending codes (P0193). Removal and Replacement Instructions: Ignition OFF, carefully disconnect the power and vacuum leads from the sensor. Use an 8mm socket to remove 2 screws - note how little torque was used to secure them. sensor into the socket to loosen the sensor. Twist and gently pull up to remove the sensor. Installation is the reverse order. When reinstalling the sensor, make sure the sensor is seated properly before reinstalling the screws. After installation, turn the key to supply fuel to the pump. Check for leaks. Now you can start the engine - check for leaks. It's easy to do, but if you're uncomfortable, consult a mechanic. This is how I installed my Ford Escape 05. Other vehicles may have different procedures.
