Reasonable price, availability and easy installation

Easy to install when the intake manifold and bulky wiring harness are out of the way. Removing the intake manifold was harder on my 2009 Explorer than any other car. I've stripped intake manifolds for 50 years, and I've stripped intake manifolds on turbocharged Mustangs, and it's harder on the Ford Explorer. still participates. The sensor is very easy to install. However, they are rarely a problem. In most cases the problem is either 1) a clogged fuel filter (easy and cheap but less common than

Fixes a common problem on a 2006 Ford Escape V-6 over 100,000 miles.

Perfect fit. Fixed the hesitation, rough start and rough idle issues on my 2006 Ford Escape V-6. The car drives like new! Ease of installation. Did some research beforehand and found this sensor to be a common problem on 100,000+ mile runs! (I have 150000). If your fuel pressure isn't being managed properly, your engine will try to compensate. Your car will stutter, flash various codes, prematurely fail spark plugs and coils, etc., all because of that little fuel rail sensor!

Installed on my brother's 2005 Ford Escape 4cyl. It took longer to talk about than to install! Looks high quality and is very easy to assemble. We parked the car up the hill to avoid spilling gas; Just be patient to remove the original part from the fuel line to avoid accidentally damaging the fuel line and dropping the mounting bolts. Easy to install, has been running for two months now, no new error codes, the machine is running great and smooth again. Find a video online to see the correct…

Solved my problem with Check Engine Indicator

I wish all repairs were that easy! Checking the engine code showed that the fuel rail sensor was probably the culprit - it only took 10 minutes to replace my Ford Escape. Restart your computer and I'm back on the road a few weeks later with no problems. The problem appears to have been resolved. X brand sensors are cheaper, but judging by the reviews, short-lived. The Motorcraft part was only about $30 so seemed like a good bet and was still half the price of my local parts store. On most…

05 Ford Escape - Fits my installation process

Installs in 5 minutes. Cleared my codes, started the car to complete the I/M readiness test. Multiple trips with no current or pending codes (P0193). Removal and Replacement Instructions: Ignition OFF, carefully disconnect the power and vacuum leads from the sensor. Use an 8mm socket to remove 2 screws - note how little torque was used to secure them. sensor into the socket to loosen the sensor. Twist and gently pull up to remove the sensor. Installation is the reverse order. When reinstalling…
