Review on πŸš€ Motorcraft CM5229 Black Fuel Injector Sensor: Enhanced Performance and Precision by Jeff Sprunk

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Reasonable price, availability and easy installation

Easy to install when the intake manifold and bulky wiring harness are out of the way. Removing the intake manifold was harder on my 2009 Explorer than any other car. I've stripped intake manifolds for 50 years, and I've stripped intake manifolds on turbocharged Mustangs, and it's harder on the Ford Explorer. still participates. The sensor is very easy to install. However, they are rarely a problem. In most cases the problem is either 1) a clogged fuel filter (easy and cheap but less common than others), 2) the fuel pump (the most common cause) and 3) these days those fuel injector throttle bodies. Always have fuel pump control modules - another expansion from the recent separation of the Power Control Module (PCM) for transmission and shifting, the Engine Control Module (ECM) and Body Control Module (BCM) for ROPS and bits and bobs. like the behavior of courtesy lights and the honking of horns for vision and the behavior of door locks and windows and a few other things.

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • Expensive
