Too long for 4 1/2 oz. Martini glass

I wish I had looked at the questions section before ordering. The ad does not indicate the length of the pick. At 4 inches overall, it is too long for a 4 1/2 oz martini glass. To make matters worse, the weight of the decorative portion of the Legacy pick causes it to weigh out of the 4 1/2 oz. I ordered a legacy pick and those picks are too heavy for this martini glass. I ordered the same item in a can, it should be lighter. Judging by the photos, most other types of picks are much lighter than the Legacy product. The handle of these pickaxes is too thick. By the looks of it, a martini is a delicate drink and deserves a delicate choice. I use mashed anchovy-stuffed manzanilla olives, which are significantly smaller than queen-size olives. Big olives crowd out too much gin. My glasses are from Cristal d'Arc in France, this lens is no longer made. I bought the last two made, they were shipped from France, I have about fourteen glasses in total. expensive engraved crystal glasses, but they hold ten ounces. can't stay sober for long. I discovered this fact the hard way. I am enclosing my martini recipe that I have been using for sixty of my eighty-six years, namely: THIS IS MY RECIPE PUBLISHED ON THE INTERNETMartini for two made in a frozen crystal glass - Beefeater deserves a crystal: posted by count @ 1:46pm , 10/29/07 I have 12 oz. Crystal glass in the freezer with four ice cubes and a teaspoon in the glass. My martini glasses are also kept in the freezer. In a crystal glass I pour Beefeater to fill the glass about 90%. About three drops of Martini & Rossi Dry Vermouth is the absolute maximum! Next, I add 2 teaspoons of olive juice from anchovy-stuffed manzanilla olives β€” these are absolutely the best martini olives. Stir gently by moving the spoon up and down for about ten seconds. Pour into a frozen martini glass, placing a spoon around the rim of the glass and preventing ice cubes from falling into the glass. Do not allow ice to enter the glass. Add three anchovy-stuffed manzanilla olives strung on a small canned olive skewer. The use of frozen glasses reduces the dilution of the gin from the melting of the ice cubes and preserves the unique character of the juniper. Apparently, the fictional James Bond character loved his vodka watered down β€” because that's what happens when you shake a gin over ice. Don't ruin a good gin and don't dilute it by shaking it. To reiterate, when pouring into martini glasses from a crystal glass, the spoon is used over the rim of the glass to prevent ice cubes from falling into the martini glass. Once again, this is a martini for two. Note: ABV 94. Beefeater is one of the top high alcohol gins. The crystal glass and martini glasses actually "smoke" when the gin is poured. Note: The metal teaspoon extracts heat from the gin glass and cools the gin even further.
