This dog harness is very durable and well made. It snaps into the car's lock like a child's car seat. I have no problem with my child's car seat and dog harness sharing a latch in our car and the Acura RDX. The leash is a bit short but my dog is small so it didn't bother her too much. My dog can sit or lie comfortably with the seat belt on. I attach a seat belt to her regular harness and it's easy to use. The best part is that my dog can no longer jump around the car while I'm driving. It saved my life and was a great stress reliever.
