Gone are the days when you HAD to grab a seat buckle. Not just a seat buckle, but a SIDE seat buckle. I chose this as a lot of medium seats so I don't have a standard buckle that fits every harness on the market. They seem durable but now I'm really scared of clip on leather. You'll probably need to use heat shrink tubing around the edges of the clamp to avoid this.

I have used them on the luggage hooks in the back of my Journey for my two 85 pound dogs. Both rode comfortably (attached to the shoulder straps) with an elastic band to allow for a little "give" if I had to stop suddenly. They are designed to be used with LATCH anchoring systems on existing vehicles and I have no doubt they will be safe and effective for that use as well.

We bought these to keep our dogs safe in the car. We've used them once so far and they've worked great. They are of great length. I hooked the dogs in the cargo hold to the car's latch. The only bad thing is that my two dogs (medium and large) could jump to the ground (if the back was open) even when connected. Luckily I had dog treats in my pocket and was able to lure them back lol.

I always buckle up our dogs when I'm in the car. I used to use the ones that buckle with a seat belt, but the dogs would sometimes step on the buckle and unbuckle it! I wanted a safer option. These clips snap into the LATCH and are much more secure! Also, a person riding with dogs in the back seat can wear their seat belt! I love it! Perfect length and glad they have "recoil" for more protection!

The 2 sets of snap lines are perfect as they come in two different colours. My dogs are in the trunk/third row of our SUV and the length gives them enough freedom of movement but is still secure. And because it snaps into the anchors for child safety, it's really secure. A small amount of bungee also helps, but gives the dogs some leeway. And since they are 2 different colors, it's easy to tell which dog is tied to which leash.

This product is great for road trips with my furry little ones. I have a 2 year old pit bull dog and she gets very restless when we are in the car, as soon as I buckle her up she gets a lot calmer than usual. I don't know if it's because she can't walk as much or what, but it was a fantastic purchase for the price! The only thing I would change is the thickness of the strap. I have a puppy and they didn't leave him in the back seat for a minute and he managed to gnaw through one of the mounts…

We have a 2004 4Runner that we love to travel in and take our dogs with us. We plan to invest in shock boxes over time, but until then all we needed was a way to keep one of our Aussies from jumping from the trunk to the back seat and sometimes onto the passenger's lap. This dog harness is very durable and well made. It snaps into the car's lock like a child's car seat. I have no problem with my child's car seat and dog harness sharing a latch in our car and the Acura RDX. The leash is a bit short but my dog is small so it didn't bother her too much. My dog can sit or lie comfortably with the seat belt on. I attach a seat belt to her regular harness and it's easy to use.
