My old set was getting so dull that the pipe would break every time I got half way thru the pipe. Which left the pipe broke instead of cut. Frustrating as that is, when you get something that is sharper it glides right thru. These worked great after dealing with my old set. The spring recoiled the handle and I was able to glide right thru multiple PVC pipe after getting these. We have become a disposable world so if you find your PVC cutters getting old and dull. Just go buy new ones. It is totally worth it.
