1. The eyelet makes attaching the arms easy, secure and can be removed and attached if needed, unlike models with non-reinforced hole in the base of the arms .2 . The shank for attaching the hands is made of plastic for both the hour and minute hands. A real plus in terms of fixing the minute hand.2. The transparent back lets you make sure the wheels are turning (yes, it's silent. It doesn't tick). Reinforced hand hole and plastic handle are the best features.
