So yes, I'm a real American living in Detroit, Michigan! I bought this on the recommendation of my boss. Now in the past I have this uses garmin dezl series and they work fine but cost four times their value! i ordered mine on a friday night and received it on saturday morning! in my 20 years driving a big truck i have used multiple dashcams and gps. i am here too.Hopefully which crushes some of the other reviews.1 YES IT SAYS YOU SENT SPEED AND YOUR SPEED!2 THIS SHOWS THE CORRECT TIME AND CORRECT ARRIVAL TIME!3 I CANNOT HONESTLY COMMENT ON THE DURABILITY I ONLY HAVE ONE WEEK!4 IF YOU READ THE INSTRUCTIONS, WATCH THE VIDEO ON YOUTUBE, CALL A FRIEND, HE WILL DEFINITELY WALK THE TRUCK ROUTES AND ALERT YOU IF YOU'RE ON YOUR ROUTE TOO MUCH NEED TO TRAVEL A NON-FREIGHT ROAD GU AND YOU CAN ACCEPT IT OR REJECT IT!5 THE VOLUME IS LOW EVEN ON THE HIGHEST SETTINGS. 6 THEY CAN BE SET IN MILES, FEET AND INCHES (US STANDARD), SO READ CAREFULLY. Bottom line, it looks a lot like older PC Miler units from Ark Technologies, dating back to 2010. So far I absolutely LOVE mine and if it holds up over time I really have no reason to ever buy anything else. Reading is AMAZING! This is NOT a $500 Rand or Garmin doing everything automatically! You have to set it up for the 1st time! Set profile number 1 (you get 7 seats) as your big truck or van and name it accordingly. When asked what your driving profile is, choose the right one and keep driving! Sorry for the long review, just thought I might answer some questions I had. I will update if anything changes.
