Review on 🔥 Mishimoto MMRAD-TIB-01 Performance Aluminum Radiator for Hyundai Tiburon 2003-2008: Enhanced Cooling Efficiency and Compatibility by Jose Guevara

Great in the right Tiburon

FIRST NOTE: For those who want their car to run cooler this will do just that, but it sucks. The car is designed to operate at a certain temperature to increase power and efficiency. Cooling your engine negatively affects both of these factors. It's also nice to note that your heater is unlikely to work as well when fitted to a production car. If you're installing one of these in a stock Tiburon I'd recommend finding a 185-190 degree thermostat. For those with a modified Tiburon that runs a little slimmer this is absolutely perfect. Now I can run my engine lean with spares and still run at a nice, safe 230 degrees. Beyond that, it was great and appears to be very well built. If you need a quick explanation as to why your engine isn't running so well then here it is. Gasoline does not burn in liquid form, it has to be a vapor, when it enters the combustion chamber as a liquid the heat vaporizes the fuel. The hotter the engine the more fuel can evaporate but if the engine is too hot it will run at a lot more power and efficiency but you risk damaging it. So, modern cars work at a temperature of about 230 degrees. So again I wouldn't recommend this on a stock Tiburon motor.

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
