Really good cooling pad for 15-17 inch laptops

I've been using this laptop cooling pad for over a week now and it's holding up incredibly well so far. The position of the fans matches my laptop's air intakes and keeps the CPU and GPU nice and cool. I really like the features of this cooler and replaced my large CoolerMaster cooling pad because of these features. The only quirk I noticed was that the center fans were offset. Thus, the two upper ones and one of the lower ones are on the circuit, the two lower ones and the upper middle fan are on the second circuit. I flipped the middle fans so all the top 3 are on together, the bottom 3 together. Pay attention to the direction of your laptop's airflow. If the air is escaping at the bottom, you may need to open the radiator and reverse the fans. My laptop pulls air from the bottom so this worked great. On 15 inch laptops, the fans are in the right place for the air intakes. β€’ The fans run nice and quiet even at full speed. β€’ Switches for fans start with an "OFF" toggle switch, then they can be increased. β€’ Toggle switch to turn the LED on/off. πŸ‘Œ β€’ It can be summoned quite far! I only use the first notch as it's dock/desktop friendly for me. Cons: β€’ The included phone holder is too thin for most newer phones that are thicker. β€’ The small hinged clasp on the bottom is a bit flimsy. It would be better if it was metal, but you just can't use it. β€’ The USB ports are for powering the pad and not for use as hubs; they are only 2.0. Overall, I rate this as a VERY positive for an economical laptop cooler stand.

Pros
  • Same as everything before
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
