Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not as advertised Best in kitchen and dining room

I have decided to give my new kettle a good old fashioned service rating. In fact, I had access to and used a freshly calibrated lab thermometer. Here are the results: Good: 1) It works. It heats or boils water to a certain temperature and then turns off. 2) The keep warm function works. ** See #3 on the "Poor" list below for less than stated. Very happy with it 4) The LEDs around the bottom of the glass jug are super cool as they glow different colors for different temperature presets. cool water from the tap. That's pretty slow for a kettle. The material above says 6-7 minutes as well as 5 minutes. These claims are simply not true. certain (60, 70, 80 and 90 °C) and bring to the boil. No "100 degrees C for French press coffee" and "boil" for black tea or instant cocoa, oatmeal, pasta and more are the same. Function that automatically maintains the selected temperature for 30 minutes. It needs to be activated by pressing and holding the power button for 3 seconds. It simply boils the water, turns off the heating element and boils it again when the water reaches 85°C. This lasts for two hours and then turns off. DOESN'T KEEP HEAT AT FOUR TEMPERATURE SETTINGS. These are only cycles between 85°C and boiling (100°C). Ugliness: 1) This kettle lacks a "unique and stylish aesthetic beautifully lit by blue LEDs". Boil indicators are red by default. another color. I like it. What's really ugly is that when you use the "Keep Warm" function, a red light flashes like the kettle is out of order, like the red death ring on an Xbox 360 or something. A little creepy. 2) it squeaks when you put it on the base. Why?
