Review on Anker 3-Port USB 3.0 HUB with Gigabit Ethernet Converter (3 USB 3.0 Ports, RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet, Windows XP, Vista, Win7/8 (32/64 bit), Mac OS 10.6+, Linux) - Black by Ryan Foxz

I have other Anker products and they are all great but on this one the USB cable that came with it is starting to fail after 13 months of use - just sitting here at my desk at work. Loses connection regularly. At first I thought something was wrong with my MacBook Air's USB port, so I tried connecting other peripherals, but they were fine with that particular USB port. I then plugged that USB into other ports but the behavior was the same. I noticed that this USB connector was a much weaker fit than most to begin with, but now it seems like there is an internal short. Everything was fine until recently. Probably just a Lemon USB cable. UPDATE: After writing my original review above, Anker contacted me directly, apologized, and sent a brand new unit. Fabulous customer service that shows they care. They sent me a replacement 13 months after the original purchase! So I would say buy with confidence - they are a great company! Thanks anchor!
