Review on Morris 35000 Cable Plastic Romex by Abdirahman Mensah

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A simple tool for fastening all kinds of cables. Durable and easy to use.

This is what they look like: cheap alternatives to pins and clips. I've bought a few of these packs and they haven't disappointed, but there are probably paid things you might want to know, so in no particular order: 1) The nails are tiny, thin, and very sharp. They were easy to hit and never buckled (except when I tried to pull them out). You slide straight into the wood, but when you nail oak (hardwood) it can give you a different experience. I liked the penetration depth of the nail. Once in place, they are very difficult to pull out. 2) Plastic strap holders are durable. They hold things pretty well. If you try to remove them (in my experience) the plastic will bend and deform long before it breaks. It is not a fragile material. In terms of durability (outdoors) they seem to last around ten years, maybe longer unless you live in a harsh desert environment. 3) Remember that they are wide and have a slight "inside height tolerance". The plastic is flexible enough to bend wires or LED strips, but strong enough to choke a hose if you're using it to attach a small hose. In real life, you can attach ONE coaxial cable in a pinch (not recommended for this type of clip), three or four phone cables, a device power cable, or two USB ribbon cables per clip. They're big enough that you can hold a nail and use a hammer instead of banging your finger. You don't need needle nose pliers to insert them.

Pros
  • DURABLE CABLE CLAMPS: Easily secure cables to wood, cement, brick and plaster with these low-profile plastic two-nail cable clamps that are corrosion and impact resistant.
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks
