I am very glad I bought this stand. It's very durable, mostly easy to assemble, and completely changes the center of gravity when I have a pannier bag and other items attached to the bike rack. However, I will point out that you must pay attention to the length of your chain. My chain is 17-1/2" long and in certain situations I have a bit of heel banging on the new footboard. When installed on my bike, the footpeg is about 4 and 1/4" from the center of the rear axle. I also put some 3M clear protective tape on the bike frame during installation.The aim is to minimize paint damage that can occur over time with the stand in place.I have installed one of these stands on both my bike and my wife's bike .Again very glad I did.
