I'm sure the product itself is fine - I mean, borax powder is borax powder. And it's my fault for not realizing that 1 pound of borax powder barely equals 2(!) cups. That means a $10 bag of borax powder (at $0.62 an ounce) barely lasts 4(!) loads of laundry. Even if you use closer to a full cup per charge. Again this is my fault as I could have bought another well known brand but that would have been a 4 case minimum commitment (at the time) for this online purchase at .29 an ounce. Again this is my fault as I could have risked shopping in store during the pandemic but I tried to be 'safe'. So if you imagine what a pound of borax powder looks like (that's just under 2 cups), calculate how much you'll get in a wash day โ and how much it costs to load it. It's too late for me, but I'm trying to stay positive and see it as an expensive economics lesson rather than being an idiot.
