I have a 2004 F-150 and have selected the correct model for my truck. I plugged it in and it says an update is needed. I called Jet, they told me the programmer was fine and my truck needed an upgrade! The service manager at Tuttle Click Ford said he had no idea and I could bring my truck in for a diagnostic fee of at least $120 and then "IF" they could figure it out I would have to pay for it. They ended up knowing exactly what year and engine I had in my truck and sold me a $300+ programmer that wasn't compatible. These guys are scammers!
