I bought this tool storage organizer for my earthmoving and gardening equipment thinking it would be easy to joist somewhere under my floor beam cab design. As it turned out, mounting the tracks directly onto the joists about 11 inches deep wouldn't leave enough room for the spade heads. The rails and then the booms are lowered enough to allow buckets to be dumped between the beams and inserted into the booms. The levers as stated on this product page snapped into the uprights, actually better than I expected. With one kit I was able to put together two regular shovels, a digging shovel, a garden rake, a spare rake head, a post excavator, a rammer and a hoe. Thus, the racks can withstand an impressive weight. A few notes on the manufacturer: • I used the screws that came with it, but I'm not 100% sure they're actually strong enough for the job. In the future I will certainly move this storage rack to my engineering room and use stronger screws. Likewise, the included anchors are a bit too small, probably good for hanging light photos on the wall, but no more, so including them is pointless. • Hands too close together to hold spades etc. I was able to squeeze in the shovels and associated equipment but it required some arm extension which is not optimal. I suspect the levers are designed for metal tool shanks but not far enough for wooden shanks.
