These lights work great; They are bright and I like that they are bigger than most battery powered lights. In addition, various functions are also good. However, I bought this string of lights because of the remote control and I am disappointed with it. As it should be about 6 feet or closer for the remote to turn on the light. Are the keys also incompatible? I haven't found a way that always works to turn off the light. Sometimes just pressing the power button doesn't help. Overall the light works well and I think the remote gets what I paid for. If you don't mind fumbling with the remote buttons and close proximity, then this is a good string of lights.
