They are great for many things. Decorate where there are no outlets so you don't have to use extension cords and wires everywhere. I ordered the first set for a wreath on the front door. Then I ordered another set for a wreath in my attic BUT the remote control doesn't work remotely. You have to be very close for it to work. I plan to place the second set behind the bar on the mirror.
